The wedding ceremony of the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, and his new bride, Miss Lara Fortes, has commenced.

Oshiomhole tied the knot with Miss Lara Fortes in the Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

The reception is to take place at Oshiomhole’s country home in Iyamho.

Lara Forte, a Cape Verde national, and former air hostess at Emirate Airlines, is in her early thirties, aides of the governor say.

Oshiomhole is re-marrying five years after he lost his first wife, Clara, on December 8, 2010. She died after several years of battling with cancer.
