- A PDP's candidate for the House Representatives representing Kogi/Lokoja, Shaba Ibrahim, has been sworn-in

- The speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, presided over the plenary when Ibrahim was asked to take the oath of office

- Court of Appeal had sacked the candidate of APC, Abdulkarim Wambai, who formerly occupied the seat

The House of Representatives has sworn-in the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kogi/Lokoja, Shaba Ibrahim, 19 days after the Court of Appeal sacked the former occupier of the seat and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulkarim Wambai.

Legit.ng reports that Ibrahim took the oath office on Wednesday, November 13, during the plenary session.

It would be recalled that the appeal court nullified the election of Wambai who represented Kogi/Lokoja federal constituency and declared Ibrahim the authentic winner of the election.

The PDP's governorship candidate in the state, Musa Wada, had announced Ibrahim's victory on his twitter page on Wednesday, October 23, while congratulating him on his victory at the appellate court.
