With the 2018 FIFA World Cup having started on June 14, 2018, Nigerians woke up to another reason for excitement.

Several sources were reporting that popular Nigerian musician Wizkid was to perform at the opening ceremony of the once in four years event.

The rumours were so strong that a lot of Nigerians took to the Starboy CEO’s social media pages to ask him if he was really performing at the event.
