A former Big Brother Naija housemate has sparked reactions online after an X user disproved her claims of staying in an expensive apartment in the United Kingdom.

Anita Natacha Akide, popularly referred to as Tacha, was a housemate on season four of Big Brother Naija in 2019 and was disqualified in the final week.

She lived in the United Kingdom briefly before relocating to Nigeria to progress her acting and media career. She is also involved in other enterprises.

X user disproves Tacha’s claim

Dx-BBN housemate Tacha, during her segment on the Honest Bunch podcast, claimed she paid £5,000 rent during her time living in Canary Wharf in London.

An X User, Magnificent Daddy, claimed that he was neighbours with the entertainment personality, and he was not sure when they increased their rent to such a fee.

After several back and forths, the user added that former Chelsea star Saul Niguez stayed in the same apartment during his loan spell from Atlético Madrid and didn't pay such money.

Other users reacted to the post, piling on the celebrity for lying flagrantly in full glare of the public.

Chelsea signed Saul Niguez on a season-long loan from Atlético Madrid to bolster their midfield after winning the UEFA Champions League under Thomas Tuchel.

According to Sport Bible, his salary during that loan spell was £196,269 per week during the loan spell. Chelsea returned him to Spain after one goal in the entire season.

Man calls out Tacha over ₦1.5m debt

Legit.ng previously reported that a man called out Tacha over ₦1.5 million debt after the former Big Brother Naija housemate flaunted her apartment in London.

Tacha was accused of owing the money to a group which invited her for a trip to Benin Republic, which she failed to turn up despite receiving the payment.
