A Nigerian bride who lost her dad two months before her wedding printed her late father’s favorite picture on her wedding dress so that he could walk down the aisle with her.

She made a lengthy statement about him as she got married to the man she had introduced to him while he was alive and who had received his blessing.

It was revealed by the bride, identified as Ella, that she and her dad were very close when he was alive.

She described him as a strong man and explained that she still carried him along in her wedding as she got married to the man he had blessed before his passing.

According to a detailed post shared on a popular social media platform, TikTok, by user @thekingemzy, Ella spoke at length about her father.

The TikTok story contained a caption that further explained part of her message. It read:

“Ella lost her Dad just 2 months ago, the sad news broke us all but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.”

As the TikTok video played, Ella spoke about her dad, how fond she was of him, and the special name she called him, a name her siblings also began to use.

In order to carry her favorite person along on her wedding day, she took his favorite picture and printed it on her wedding veil so he could walk her down the aisle with her.

Her statement in the video read:

“If he was here, he'd have been the most happiest man on earth. Life is for those that can fight on the battlefield, I normally refer to him as D because when I was a kid, it was said that I can't mention Daddy so I gave him the name D and that's what all my siblings call him.”

She continued:

"The veil isn't just a veil, I see it as my dad walking down the aisle. The most amazing part of it is that he actually gave me to my husband.

“He has accepted the man and he was happy with the man I brought home and I know in his heart, he blessed us before he died so I feel he's still walking on that path with me to hand me finally to the man he accepted. He's still in my heart, he's still in my head. I love my dad, we're too close.
