He broke down the statement made by Omoyele Sowore to make VeryDarkMan understand that Sowore is not fighting him but is only concerned about the justice system.

Oga Pero also used a popular footballer, Victor Osimhen, as an example in his explanation to VeryDarkMan to make him understand better.

He said:

"You cannot just come to tell us that this guy does not like you, without evidence. But if you have evidence, I am ready to swallow my words. I am not the kind of person that just follows the crowd; I follow sense."
"How on earth would somebody just come to a final conclusion that because somebody is doing some things relating to another person, that is the reason the other person does not like him?"
"Who told you?"
"Has anybody called you and said this is what Sowore said about you? Sowore, that we all know doesn’t really care about individual people, would say it the way it is. So because you’re doing things relating to Sowore, you’ve now come to a final conclusion yourself?"

"Let’s say the way Osimhen plays football, Osimhen should just sit down and think that because he is a footballer, Lookman does not like him. Does that make sense?"

Speaking specifically about what Omoyele Sowore is fighting for, he explained while citing a section of the 1999 constitution.

"That one statement shows who you really are."
"Do you know what Omoyele Sowore has been fighting for? It’s illegal detention, illegal imprisonment. From that post, the first paragraph, Omoyele made a statement; you ignored that part and read the part that suits you."
"Today, you really showed me another part of you.2
"Take it off, leave it. You keep saying something like ‘you’re not an activist.’ What is the similarity between you and Omoyele Sowore?"
"The only thing Sowore has been fighting for in this country is Section 36 of the 1999 Constitution, which provides that someone is presumed innocent until proven guilty."

At the end of the Facebook post, Oga Pero added:

"Remanding people who have not been proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt is still unjust and unconstitutional. Omoyele Sowore is not fighting you; what he is saying is that he is fighting for the justice system. Nobody is saying you shouldn’t fight your case, fight your case."

US-based man advises VDM on what he must do to claim victory in Blord’s case, sparks debate

Reactions as man speaks about VeryDarkMan, Sowore

Idoko U Haruna shared:

"A responsible elder who has no malice against VDM, seeing two young men in conflict, will call, and beg him to back off the case, and even promise to talk to blord to apologize and end the matter. Not threatening one party."

Phem O'fimochie added:

"Omoyele Sowore is right. VeryDarkMan is also right. Ordinarily, diplomacy should come before conflict; where diplomacy fails, confrontation follows. However, this is something that would be better handled away from social media. No one is perfect, both VDM and Sowore may have their faults, but social media is rarely the right place for peaceful understanding or resolution. Pride is a silent enemy that can undo both reputation and hard work."

David Mark shared:

"Its simple go and watch his previous videos, when asked about vdm...listen to his answers critically and watch is body language..u go understand, well not everyone is blessed with the gift of discernment."

Olakunle Pillar said:

"Only the time can prove who a man is. It is just matter of time, VDM will fight Burna boy just the way he did to others. Is no longer Davido but Burna, is no longer Adeyanju Deji but Marsha, is no longer politicians but is fellow youth, is no longer fraud fighting but comrade fight. It will not last longer before the ends come."
