A lady who studied a medical course at a federal polytechnic has taken to social media to lament that she ended up using the lab coat she was forced to buy by a lecturer to work as a sales rep in a betting shop.

She could be seen in the video wearing a lab coat while lamenting the lack of jobs in the country.

Poly graduate ends up as sales rep

She said that while in school, she and other students were always told not to enter the lab if they did not have a lab coat, but several years later, she is now using the same lab coat she bought to work in a betting shop as a sales rep.

In the TikTok video, she said:

"All those sayings about ‘no lab coat, no entry’ this is it. We didn’t use it to get a job. This is the lab coat, I’m using it to play Baba Ijebu lotto."

@kikiola0014 repeated the statement a lecturer always made during lectures in the lab.

She said:

"There’s no job outside. ‘If you don’t have a lab coat, don’t enter my lab.’ This is it, there’s no job."

The statement she made in the video and the lab coat she wore got the attention of many people, who reacted in the comments section.

UNILORIN graduate begs for job after NYSC

Meanwhile, Legit.ng recently reported that a young Nigerian lady, Sherifat Shola Abdulsalam, went online to beg people to help her find a job.

She finished school at the University of Ilorin and studied Political Science. She said she has worked for three years after NYSC. In a video, she told people she is looking for jobs like customer service, office assistant, sales girl, or receptionist.
