A throwback photo of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has got people talking on social media.

The photo, which was taken at the 1987 Holy Ghost Convention, was shared on Instagram by @rufaioseni.

Pastor Adeboye mounted the pulpit, facing the congregation, while five men of God sat behind him. The photo didn't capture the congregation.

In other news, Pastor Adeboye made a big revelation as he ordained over 24,000 ministers into the ministry.

During the ceremony, 10,806 deacons and deaconesses and 4,726 assistant pastors were also ordained.

The 79-year-old cleric revealed while preaching on sanctification that he had several girlfriends before he gave his life to Jesus Christ.

He said that out of the numerous lovers, he did everything with one in particular without giving details of the said former lady.

Adeboye visits Ogun governor

Legit.ng earlier reported that a video captured the moment Pastor Adeboye and his wife visited Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state after the latter lost his dad.

In the video that was shared on Instagram by social media influencer @mufasatundeednut, the governor could be seen bowing for the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

After bowing for the Christian cleric, both men shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.
