Fuji star Saheed Osupa, on Tuesday, September 30, dropped a song he composed for Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arùsà 1) days after his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Recall that Ladoja, a former governor and senator, had his coronation on Friday, September 26, at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, which was attended by top dignitaries in the country, including President Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde.

Osupa, who was absent at the event, also penned a congratulatory message to Oba Ladoja on his ascension to the throne of Olubadan of Ibadan.

Saheed Osupa composes a song for Oba Ladoja
Days after the event, the Fuji maestro released a video of him singing about Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
Osupa, who dropped deeply rooted lyrics in Yoruba, sang about how Ladoja had been patient in the face of challenges from when he was governor of Oyo state to becoming a respected Yoruba monarch.
The Fuji star sang about how Ladoja's ascension to the throne of Olubadan became a moment of pride for the indigenes.

"The achievements of Oba Adewolu Ladoja stand as a testament to this truth. From serving as a Senator, to becoming Governor, and now ascending as the Great Monarch of Ibadanland, Kabiyesi, Baba mi; your journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Congratulations once again, Sir," Osupa added in a caption.
Osupa's song comes after the criticism against his colleague Taye Currency's lyrics at Oba Ladoja's coronation.

Burna Boy hails Osupa, he reacts
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Osupa reacted after Afrobeats star Burna Boy named him his Greatest of All Time (GOAT) singer.
Burna Boy made the comment while speaking about his music inspirations during a hangout with tennis legend Roger Federer in Zurich, Switzerland.
"I am profoundly grateful for this powerful acknowledgment from a true Afropop titan," Osupa said.
