The death of skit-maker Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mrsankucomedy or Sanku, has continued to trend, with his last TikTok video now gaining widespread attention online.
Legit.ng reported earlier that Sanku passed away in a car accident with a friend on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The skit-maker was rushed to the hospital, where he was reportedly pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
It was reported that Sanku, while heading home to Ogbomoso after a shoot in Ilorin, lost control and crashed into a canal.
An earlier video shared by Jidex showed the wreckage of the vehicle involved, and he stated that while multiple passengers were affected, Sanku and another individual may not survive due to the severity of the situation.

Why Sanku's last video is still trending
Ironically, in the last video he shared on his TikTok page before his death, Sanku prayed not to lose his life when it was time to reap all he had worked for.

The video, which included a caption of him and a friend grooving to a song, carried a message that read:
"When it is time for us to enjoy what we worked hard for, may we never lose our lives," he said.

“When these videos are shared people aren’t just reacting to a tragedy they’re seeking to process and connect with what happened,” Ogunremi told Legit.ng.
She explained that, “Sharing these final moments is often a way of bringing a humane encounter to the event such as ‘Look how human he was. He lived. He mattered.’”
According to her, “It brings comfort, not just curiosity.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Phyna's sister, Ruth Orabor, had passed away on the evening of August 31, 2025, weeks after a tragic accident.
