Explainer: Step-By-Step Guide on how to Register for the Next N-Power Batch
The federal government had announced that up to one million beneficiaries will be employed under the Batch C of the N-Power programme.

The minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq said the ministry has taken stringent steps to ensure that the registration, verification, and onboarding process would be carried out online and on a centralised system.

Farouq noted that the Batch C programme would run for 12 months, stressing that each beneficiary would be paid a monthly stipend of N30,000.
Recall that the ministry made some new changes in the enrolment process, including the introduction of a new portal.
Though the enrollment for Batch C is closed, Legit.ng highlights the basic steps prospective applicants have to take in order to enroll for the next batch:
1. Ensure you have a Bank Verification Number (BVN) Details, recent photograph not more than 1MB in JPEG or PNG format, valid contact email address/working phone number, degree certificate, and NYSC certificate for graduates who wish to apply for N-Teach/N-Health.
2. Applicants are required to log into the official website.
3. Terms and conditions of the programme will be read and accepted to proceed.
4. Input valid contact info such as email and phone number. The page will redirect applicants to their email address for confirmation.
5. The applicant will afterwards input name as provided in the BVN registration information.
6. The next page requires educational background if any. N-Teach and N-Health are only open to graduates, and for N-Health, preference will be given to holders of Bachelors, OND, and HND degrees in health sciences.
7. Applicants will also need to upload NYSC certificate where necessary.
8. Other information as regards previous employment and others will be required alongside government-issued identity cards.
These include an international passport, a National Identity card issued by National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), a valid driver’s license, or a permanent voter’s card.
9. Applicants will be required to review the information and submit.
10. A unique ID number will be assigned when the enrollment process is concluded.

N-Power to eradicate poverty among youths
The minister further explained that N-Power was a component of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) which was introduced to curb the growing tide of poverty, unemployment, and social insecurity in Nigeria.
She also stated that a total number of 6,969,230 households and 29,766,599 persons had been captured under the national social register. She noted that about 4,000,000 households and 20,000,000 persons were to be added to the social register, as one million households and 5.6 million persons had been captured under the Conditional Cash Transfer.
