Celebration as Female Farmers Reap Bountiful Harvest after Benefiting from Buhari's Fertiliser Initiative

Some groups of female farmers in Akwa Ibom have been captured in a heartwarming video celebrating their bountiful harvest.

In the video that was shared by President Muhammadu Buhari's special assistant on digital and new media, Tolu Ogunlesi, the women danced with their produce in their hands as they celebrated the harvest.

According to Ogunlesi, the women were celebrating the farm yields from access to unadulterated and high-quality fertiliser.

The Nigerian government partnered with the government of Morocco to start a fertiliser initiative in 2016 which the female farmers benefited from.

Ogunlesi captioned the video:

"This is a video from women farmers’ groups in Akwa Ibom, celebrating the farm yields from access to unadulterated, high-quality fertilizer. The blending plant in Akwa Ibom (Greenwell) is one of 40+ revived since 2016, under the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative. See their joy!"

Reacting to the heartwarming video, tweep with the handle @omotee035 wrote:
