- This is more than his other top counterparts, Wizkid and Burna Boy have

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, is one of the top musicians in the country and now he has reportedly become the highest followed African artiste on social media.

Just recently, the Jowo crooner hit 19 million followers on his Instagram page. No doubt, he is loved by many who enjoy not just his music but his free spirit.

His rise to being the most followed artiste has been a long time coming seeing as he has been able to maintain the spot.

Well, not being as highly followed as Davido has not affected the reception the other artiste’s music has received from fans.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Wizkid's latest album, Made In Lagos, had continued to cross new milestones, giv credence to his position on putting his best into the body of work.

Months after the 14-track album was released, it is still breaking new records and performing impressively across different music charts.

Just recently, the album scored a new record as the longest-charting African project on the Billboard World Album chart, for the current decade. This happened after the project spent 13 weeks on the chart.
