It was alleged that Ifeoma attacked her father Samuel Maduakar and threatened to poison him.
The judge said Maduakar must continue to pray to God to change Ifeoma, adding that he must accept her apology when she tenders it.
Adamu also told the defendant to respect her father, saying her parents have done their best for her.
On different occasions, the defendant allegedly fought with her father and inflicted injuries on him. She was said to have caused him to have a leg fracture in 2007.
Addressing the court, Maduakar said:
"Children are a source of pride and give joy to parents. Ifeoma is the opposite. In 2007, Ifeoma caused me to have a leg fracture. She fought me.
"I am not asking the court to jail her, but she needs to abide by my rules. I have endured her for 15 years and I have high blood pressure. These tears she is shedding are not genuine. She will not change."
Ifeoma pleaded not guilty to the allegations against her and the judge adjourned the matter until November 23 for a report of settlement.
In other father-daughter news, a young South African woman brought tears to thousands of eyes. This was after she shared a heartfelt dad appreciation post to popular Facebook group, ImStaying.
Her beautiful post includes a lovely picture of herself and a smiling dad.
"Appreciation post of this man next to me. My father, mother, my everything. He made sure I'm healthy and safe all the time. He raised me from 3 years when mommy left me with him. I'm 25 now but still his little daughter."
