As expected, fans were not let down as their expectation was surpassed by the epic performance which was put up by the talented and hardworking music superstars.

However, while the NFL does not offer payment to its Super Bowl half time performers, the artists are expected to receive what is described as a 'union scale', which is usually much lesser than what they earn on a daily basis.
The report also noted that while the NFL does not pay the artists, it does take up the responsibility of paying for such things as the production costs which includes lighting, stages and outfits. It is gathered that the production costs often run into several millions of dollars.
Well, while the singers may not be getting monetary reward for their epic performances, the Super Bowl does offer rewards in the sense of giving them the honour to join the lists of music legends that have graced the stage and shared their music with millions of viewers across the world.
In addition to this, it is expected that their popularity would grow after the performance and in turn influence their earnings on digital music streaming platforms. For instance, Spotify reports that after the half time show, J Lo’s numbers went up by 335 per cent while Shakira got a 230 per cent kick.
Meanwhile, ahead of the NFL Super Bowl half time show, Legit.ng previously reported that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira promised to give a special heartfelt performance in honour of Kobe Bryant. J Lo spoke about how the news of the NBA star's death really devastated her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.
