  • A Nigerian author has weighed in on the recent incarceration of businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord
  • According to the author, who is also a script writer, when VeryDarkMan came for Blord unprovoked after their old fallout, she backed the businessman

Anwulika Udanoh, the author of Royal Kiss, has reacted to the incarceration of Anambra businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely known as Blord, after his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday, April 1, on charges of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and unauthorised use of the identity of VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse.

Anwulika, in a Facebook post on April 2, backed the lawsuit that VeryDarkMan took against Blord, which led to the businessman's remand at the Kuje Correctional Centre.

Blord: Why author supports VeryDarkMan's action

In her Facebook post, Anwulika noted that she had condemned VeryDarkMan in the past and stood with Blord when the self-acclaimed online police came for the businessman unprovoked after their old fallout.

However, she switched sides when Blord used VeryDarkMan to promote his brand and even claimed that he would be attending his event in Onitsha.

The author stated that she was against Blord for towing that line and was one of those who urged VeryDarkMan to sue him if, truly, he did not give his consent for such usage of his name and image.

She reminded netizens that Blord crossed the privacy line many times without provocation. In her words:

"When VDM went for Blord unprovoked, after their old fall out, I took a stand with Blord and condemned VDM.
"When Blord used VDM to promote his brand and even claimed that VDM will be attending his event in Onitsha, I was against Blord for doing that, and I was one of those who suggested a legal action from VDM, if Blord didn't get his consent before doing that.

"So yeah, Blord's arrogance + ignorance of the law led him into acting in total disregard to the law. Money does not give sense. There is a reason proper education is still golden, even with all your wealth. Ndi "school na scam" missed the memo!
"Before anyone comes here to argue, you do not necessarily need to pass through a brick and mortar establishment to get educated. Education can be gotten in many ways."
