Deputy Governors' Monthly Pay
Deputy governors earn slightly less, with their monthly pay totalling N616,062.69. That figure comprises a basic salary of N176,017.91, a hardship allowance of N88,008.95, and a consistency allowance of N352,035.83.
Other Allowances Not Valued
Beyond the three listed components, RMAFC acknowledged that governors and their deputies are entitled to a range of other allowances. These include motor vehicle fuelling, personal and special assistants, domestic staff, entertainment, utilities, security, newspapers, accommodation, medical, and furniture allowances, among others.
However, the commission did not attach specific monetary values to any of these additional entitlements in the report, meaning the figures published represent only a portion of what governors actually receive each month.
