Michael Achimugu, the NCAA’s director of public affairs and consumer protection, announced this on Thursday, August 7.
He also disclosed that the NCAA is currently writing to the attorney-general of the federation and the inspector-general of police to initiate legal proceedings against KWAM 1.
When asked if the Fuji star would not be prosecuted due to his closeness to President Bola Tinubu, the director said Tinubu, as well as Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, are committed to the rule of law.

NCAA suspends pilots' licences
The NCAA's action comes after the body suspended the licences of the pilot, Captain Oluranti Ogoyi, and the co-pilot, First Officer Ivan Oloba.
According to Vangaurd, the NCAA revealed that the ValueJet pilots commenced departure procedures from the designated bay without adhering to the mandatory pre-departure clearance protocols.
The regulatory body described the pilot’s actions as “reckless,” adding that it “endangered the safety of ground personnel and other airport users,” and clearly violated established civil aviation regulations and international safety standards.
In related news, Legit.ng reported that KWAM 1's best friend shared why he carries a flask everywhere he goes.
