Nigerian Super Footballer Scores Amazing Goal for Top Spanish Giants in Win Over Tough Opponents

Nigerian female footballer Rasheedat Ajibade was the hero on Wednesday evening, April 21, for her Spanish club Atletico de Madrid scoring the winner in their match against Real Sociedad.

The encounter against Real Sociedad was in the Copa Dela Reina and Atletico Madrid had to wait until the death before the Nigerian star scored the winner for them.

Since joining Atletico Madrid from Avaldsnes, Rasheedat Ajibade has been impressive for the Spanish club in all competitions.

She is not the only Nigerian playing in the Spanish Female League as captain of the Super Falcons Asisat Oshoala is with Barcelona.

Oshoala has many times demonstrated that she is the goal machine considering her performances so far for the Spanish giants.

Before moving to Europe, Rasheedat Ajibade actually started her football career at Nigerian Women's League side FC Robo where she performed incredibly well netting 9 goals.

After leaving Robo in 2018, Rasheedat Ajibade moved to Avaldsnes where she netted 12 goals in 39 games and it was her performances that made Atletico Madrid to sign her.

Ajibade entered the Super Falcons team in 2018 and she has played 12 games so far for Nigeria without netting any goal.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Falcons of Nigeria made it three wins from three games at the Turkish Women's Four-Nation Tournament following their 9-0 demolition of Equatorial Guinea.

The African champions finished above the other three teams that participated after defeating CSKA Moscow and Uzbekistan by the same 1-0 scorelines in their first two matches.

Uchenna Kanu set the ball rolling in the 9th minute while team captain Asisat Oshoala made it 2-0 from a spot-kick after Toni Payne was fouled.

The Barcelona striker completed her brace from another penalty kick to make it 3-0 after the Equatorial Guinea players became very physical in the game.

Oshoala then grabbed a hat-trick in the 26th minute after beating an offside trap as she rounded the goalkeeper before putting the ball into the back of the net.

Uchenna made it 5-0 in the 36th minute courtesy of an assist from Payne while Adule headed home the sixth.
