Omolayo said she scampered for safety and hid behind a kiosk with the hope that her 15-year-old daughter took cover.

To her bewilderment, she said she heard screams from her daughter. She came out of hiding to find her daughter drenched in her own blood as she writhed in pains.

Omolayo stated that she cried out for help just as she saw the unidentified gunman with a gun in hand mount a bike and disappeared from the scene of the crime.

The distraught mother-of-4 told Punch that her daughter was hit in the stomach, somewhere above the mammary glands and left arm and cannot pick out why she was shot at.

So far, bullets in the stomach and above the mammary glands have been removed by way of surgery as they were life-threatening.
