Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, seems to be serious with his interest in politics, and most importantly, the desire to become president in 2023.

In a recent post on his official Instagram page, the movie star firstly declared his hate for poverty and made sure his first point in his list of presidential goals is to be the one who would lift Nigerians out of poverty.

Continuing what you can tag a campaign, Yul also noted that he will be a leader who will listen to his people and have their best interest at heart.

The actor also pledged to unite the nation, put the citizen's safety first, and be a president for the common man if given a chance in 2023.

Edochie posted a photo alongside his caption, not a typical campaign photo though.

Excerpt from his caption reads:

"I HATE POVERTY. I hate to see people wallow in poverty. I will be that President who will lift Nigerians from poverty. That President who will take decisions in the interest of the masses. That President who will listen to the people. That President who will unite the East, North, West, and South."
