Coronavirus continues to cause a stir in countries where cases have been recorded while those that have not had any case of the viral disease have been kept on their toes.

Just recently, Legit.ng sighted a photo on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, which was shared by a controversial Islamic cleric, Imam Tawhidi.

Tawhidi had taken to his verified page on the social media platform with a photo that captured the alleged precautionary method clerics in Iran are taking against coronavirus.

The image captured a bag that contained some items which was hanging across power-lines on a street.

"Clerics in Iran hung a Quran high on power lines so that it could block and prevent Coronavirus from entering the area," his post read.

Still in a related coronavirus story, Legit.ng previously gathered the report of a Nigerian pastor who disclosed his intention to travel down to China, in a bid to wage war upon coronavirus.

According to the man, there is no prophet in the country which was why the virus could fester. He noted that once there is a prophet, there would be no room at all for coronavirus.
