Chris Attoh: Damilola Adegbite says she called him after American wife's death

Former wife of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh, Demilola Adegbite, has revealed she called her ex-husband when his American wife Bettie Jenifer was shot and killed in Maryland some few months back.

Demilola Adegbite has made comments in relation to the death of her ex-husband's wife Bettie Jenifer who was shot and killed few months ago.

According to the actress and former Tinsel star, she called Attoh to console him over the death of his wife.

In a video that was sighted by Legit.ng, Damilola Adegbite expressed sentiments about the death of Chris Attoh's wife.

"He is the father of my child so I do not have any choice than to call and talk to him about the incident," she noted.

"Anything that happened between us, let us believe that it is the will of God. But as for this issue, it is sensitive, so I had to call him," she added.

She went on to state that it was appropriate for her to call Chris since he has been in her life before.

Many would have thought that since they are no more, Damilola and Chris Attoh may be at logger heads.

It was all sorrowful when reports surfaced that Chris Attoh's wife Bettie Jenifer was shot and killed in Maryland. Bettie had closed from work and was walking to her car when she was shot by an unknown assailant.

According to the police, the man was a slim looking black man who fled in a blue-colored car after shooting the lady.

Reports after Bettie Jenifer's death revealed that while she was married to Chris, she was still the wife of an American drug dealer.

Bettie was said to have been in the process of divorcing her first husband who was in prison for dealing in narcotics.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously gathered that the US police have turned their attention on the Ghanaian actor and husband to the victim.

In a recent development, George Matthews, a spokesman for the US police agency in Washington, D.C. confirmed that Attoh had been named a suspect in his wife’s murder.
