Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Buhari support Organisation (BSO) warned that statements made by the president of the Ohaneze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo, may affect Igbo’s chances of clinching the presidency in 2023.

Nwodo accused President Muhammadu Buhari of side-lining the Igbos in his administration, citing that “No arm of government namely, the Executive, Judiciary or Legislature is headed by an Igbo person.”

BSO said Nwodo’s statement was not a reflection of the Ohaneze Ndigbo and that it can incite Igbos against the presidency.

In a statement by Chibueze Eze who is the publicity secretary of the group, he wondered why Nwodo would make such statements considering President Buhari congratulated him when he won the election.
