"Try Me, Na Me Go Send You Prison": DeeOne Dares VeryDarkMan, Ratels Over Clash With Blord, Sowore

Nigerian comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate DeeOne has openly challenged social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and his supporters, called Ratels.
This came shortly after cryptocurrency entrepreneur Blord was remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre by an Abuja High Court for impersonation and unauthorised use of VDM’s image to promote his new app and billboards.

VDM had celebrated the ruling, saying he had successfully sent Blord to prison, while human rights activist Omoyele Sowore condemned the judgment and promised to secure Blord’s release.
VeryDarkMan responded by warning Sowore that he could also be jailed if he used his image without permission.
Reacting to the heated exchanges, DeeOne posted a video on Instagram where he warned Ratels against using his picture in their online clips.
He said he was ready to sponsor billboards across Nigeria displaying VDM’s image alongside the APC party logo, insisting that he had the power to send the social media critic to prison if provoked.
“If they born any Ratel well, put my picture on your video. I will carry VeryDarkMan’s picture, put it with APC, put it in three major billboards for Nigeria. Try it. I will write ‘sponsored by DeeOne’ on it. Na me go send VeryDarkMan to prison.”
DeeOne further mocked VDM’s supporters, emphasising that he was not Sowore or Blord and would not tolerate being targeted.
“You Ratels are so delusional, DeeOne is not Sowore or Blord. Be warned.”

Deeone accuses Peter Obi over Edo attack
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that comedian DeeOne spoke about political matters involving Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 elections.
He accused the former Anambra state governor of planning to win through sympathy while reacting to an attack on Obi and other ADC leaders in Benin City.
DeeOne also dismissed claims that the APC was behind the attack and suggested that people close to Obi could have staged it.
