Singer Davido’s 2017 Fall has achieved another major milestone years after it was initially released to the public.

The official music video for the Kiddominant produced track has now hit over 200 million views on YouTube.

Recall that Fall had made history as the first afrobeats music video to hit 100 million views on the platform before going on to hit 150 million and now 200 million.

Also reacting to the news on Twitter, Davido recounted how he and the music producer had recorded the song as a joke years ago.

He went on to appreciate the lord and fans who have been supporting his music career. In his words:

"... I remember me and @kiddominant making this record as a joke ... well this ain’t nothing to laugh at ! @flexgoddaps God is good and thanks to all of you supporting me ever since m the start .. I appreciate every single one of you."

Before this win, the music single had broken several records which include getting featured as one of the top 100-most-Shazam-searched singles in America in January 2019, a top-10 record on Shazam in New York and making history as the first African song to be certified GOLD in USA.

In February 2019, "Fall" became the longest-charting Nigerian pop song in Billboard history. Fall was also ranked at number 163 on Pitchfork's list of the 200 Best Songs of the 2010s (only African song on the list).

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Davido declared his love for popular Nollywood movie star Zubby Michael.

The Omo Ghetto actor was seen helping Davido to drive out of an event centre where he performed. Zubby was ensuring that the singer's fans were out of the way for him to go.
