Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, recently joined the ongoing bants on social media about stingy associations and showed her interest in joining the one for ladies.
In recent times, the Nigerian social media space had been buzzing with jokes and threats from men who joined the Stingy Men Association of Nigeria (SMAN).
It largely had to do with men being stingy and not being available for any billing, especially from women.
In reaction to the trend, ladies on social media also formed theirs known as the Stingy Women Association of Nigeria (SWAN), and their motto was ‘do not open’.
Toke expressed her interest in the association on her Twitter page. She asked about how to join the close legs association.
In a subsequent tweet, she said she was listening to Shina Peters’ song about money for hand and back for ground.

In other related news, Legit.ng reported that music mogul, Don Jazzy's father called for the Stingy Men Association of Nigeria to be disbanded.
This came after two of his sons, Don Jazzy and Gen Jay Mavin, joined the association as the head of union and speaker respectively.
According to Grandpa Mavin, the identity of the association was not balanced and he was going to call on a meeting for it to be disbanded so that it would not lead to war.
