Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala on Thursday evening, October 17, continued with her impressive performance this season scoring in Barcelona's 5-0 Champions League win over FC Minsk.

Barcelona needed to record a convincing victory in the first leg of their round of 16 encounter and Asisat Oshaola inspired the Spanish side to a comfortable win.

The 25-year-old Super Falcons' captain netted the first goal for Barcelona in the sixth minute before Marta Torrejón made it 2-0 for the Spanish side in the 20th minute.

Aitana scored the third goal for Barcelona in the 22nd minute before Asisat Oshoala provided the assist which gave Aitana her second goal in the 26th minute.

Asisat Oshoala was unable to finish the encounter for Barcelona as she was later replaced with Jenni Hermoso who netted the fifth goal for the Spanish side.

With Asisat Oshoala and her teammates winning 5-0 in the first leg, they will travel to Belarus for the second tie with relaxed minds on October 30.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Falcons' striker Asisat Oshoala took to social media to share photo of the pitch where her football career started before soaring to the zenith.

Oshoala is arguably the best female forward in Africa considering her success in football winning many awards for herself.
