3rd batch of ‘Go Russia’ promo winners depart for Russia

The five lucky subscribers were unveiled on Saturday at Globacom Headquarters, Mike Adenuga Towers where they were formally sent-off by officials the total telecommunications solutions Company before departing via Emirates Airlines.

The lucky winners include Aseruoma Glory Aworiwo from Delta State, Ajayi Odunayo Felix from Oyo State, Ojokojo Ernest Paul from Delta State, Izuchukwu Kizito Alih from Enugu State and Oladele Oluseyi Adetokunbo from Osun State.

In a statement in Lagos on Saturday, the company explained that a total of 17 winners have so far gone on the trip out of the 22 lucky winners that will eventually benefit from the promo which offers an all-expenses-paid trip to Russia.

“12 subscribers have returned from Russia after visits to different monuments, tourist attractions and historical sites where they were treated to delightful experiences in Russia” said Globacom

The national operator which congratulated them for emerging winners in promo, charged them to represent the country and Globacom well during their stay in the east European nation. It also thanked them for being loyal to the network over the years

Some of the winners who spoke at the reception described their joy at having their dream fulfilled by Globacom. 27 year old Izuchuwu Kizito Alih, a music producer and graduate of Theatre Arts from the University said "I thank Glo for this opportunity. Glo is the only network in my village. Everybody in my family uses Glo. I have always known that Glo is the best. I am very grateful for this opportunity."

Aseruoma, Glory Aworiwo, 26 year old graduate of Business from Cardiff Metropolitan University said "Initially, I started wondering that won't Dr. Adenuga do anything for Glo customers. So when I saw the promo, I sent "go" and I won. I want to thank God for this opportunity. I urge all Glo subscribers not to give up on Glo because they will benefit like me one day. I lost my younger brother recently, this trip is a form of relief for me."

Also a visibly elated Oluseyi Adetokunbo, an Analyst in Microfinance Bank said, “I was excited when I received the call, but my colleagues said it was a scam. Now I can confirm to them that it is real”,

Similarly, Ajayi Odunayo Felix, fish farmer, thanked Globacom for the wonderful opportunity to travel outside the country. “I am so excited as this will be the first time I have traveled outside West Africa”.

The send forth ceremony also provided platform to welcome the first and second batches of winners who recently returned from Russia. According to one of the Batch 1 winners, Joseph Oladunjoye, “Globacom treated us like kings. It was a wow experience, the food was wow, the hotel accommodation was wow, the treatment was wow. Thanks Glo”, he enthused.

The Company said that subscribers need to use N3, 000 on Voice calls or a minimum of N5, 000 on Voice and Data to qualify for the draw. It explained that incremental usage of N500 over N3000 for Voice or N5, 000 for Voice and Data attracts an extra entry to the draw, adding that the more the airtime used by subscribers, the higher the chances of winning.

Globacom which affirmed its resolve to continue to empower its subscribers at all times by availing them world class voice and data services at affordable prices stated that Interested customers can participate in the promo by sending GO to 240 on the Glo network.
