Woman allegedly jumps into lagoon under 3rd Mainland Bridge

- A woman has committed suicide by jumping into the Lagos lagoon

- The body of the unidentified woman is yet to be recovered by divers

An unidentified woman has reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Lagos lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in the evening of Sunday, June 10.

Legit.ng gathers that the unknown woman made her jump from the Unilag end of the Lagoon.

While some eyewitness claimed she parked a Ford SUV on the bridge before making the fatal jump, others said she is not the owner of the SUV and the owner witnessed the jump while trying to disuade her from jumping.

Her body is yet to be found by divers who took to the scene looking for her after the jump.

Legit.ng earlier reported that in 2017, a medical doctor who was reportedly on his way from church jumped into the Lagos lagoon.

He reportedly parked his Nisan SUV on the 3rd Mainland Bridge, alighted and jumped into the water.
