Governor Yahaya Bello might be warming up to become the president of Nigeria if the posters spotted recently are anything to go by.

The posters and billboards announcing his presidential ambition have flooded Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa states, The Nation reports.

They adorned major roads in the three south-south states.

According to the news outlet, the posters and billboards in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa state, are sponsored by the Niger Delta GYB Support Group.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday, February 28, met with Governor Bello behind closed doors in Abuja.

Details of the meeting were made available to the media by the Kogi governor's aide Mohammed Onogwu.

According to the statement, Obasanjo charged Bello to keep up with his good efforts at protecting his state.

Also recall that Legit.ng reported recently that Governor Bello is said to be under pressure to take part in the 2023 race for Aso Rock.

Kogi's commissioner for information and communication, Kingsley Fanwo, said that many people have asked the governor to contest.
