Popular Nigerian music star Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley recently held his yearlong anticipated concert tagged Marlian Fest on Monday, December 30, in Lagos.

As expected the event was attended by hundreds of die-hard fans of the sensational rapper, who are often referred to as Marlians.

However, in an unexpected twist of event, shortly after the event commenced, social media was flooded with unconfirmed reports of police arrest of attendees at the venue of the music concert.

Some videos making the rounds on microblogging platform, Twitter, captured some individuals locked up in a police van.

A Twitter user identified as @Robostar tagged the official handle of the rapper as he lamented the treatment some of his fans were going through.

“Please @officialnairam1#MarlianFest #MarlianFestOutfit @officialnairam1 please they are really harassing us here please help retweet Marlians we are locked up in the black vehicle here since please @officialnairam1 say something here please am a truly Marlians God no go shame you," his post read.
