Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, has threatened to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over its alleged inability to address the internal crisis rocking the party.

Senator Shehu Sani, representing Kaduna central senatorial district has declared his intention to contest against the incumbent governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in the state.

Senator Shehu Sani, on Saturday, June 9, praised President Muhammadu Buhari for conferring the honour of the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on late MKO Abiola, presumed winner of the June 12, 1993 election.

The Senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district, Shehu Sani, on Tuesday, May 29, commended President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for some of the achievements recorded since assuming power in 2015.

Chairman of the PDP in Kaduna state, Hassan Hyat has rejected Governor El-Rufai curses on the three senators from the state. El-Rufai, had recently cursed the senators for rejecting the $350 million loan approved for the state.

Senator Shehu Sani has stated that there is a need for the emergence of a new political party which would take Nigeria to the Promised Land, as the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party, cannot.

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has revealed that senators receive salary and allowances of N1.06 million every month. Ibrahim Mohammed who is the head of public relations at RMAFC revealed this.
