Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho's goal against Burnley at Turf Moor has been crowned goal of the month for March.
The 24-year-old forward fired home an unstoppable volley from close range to help the Foxes claim a 1-1 draw against Burnley in early March according to Complete Sport.
Iheanacho went ahead to score four more goals in three English topflight appear in the month under review and the fans voted one of his goals for the award.
The former Manchester City star also scored twice against Manchester City in the FA Cup while the Foxes grabbed the competition's semifinals ticket.
While the former youth international has been nominated for the Fans' player of the month award, the attacker picked up his first-ever Premier League player of the month prize.
He has now joined the likes of Osaze Odemwingie, Odion Ighalo, and Austin Okocha as the only four Nigerians who have scooped the individual award.
Iheanacho has scored a total of 12 goals and five assists in 29 appearances across competitions so far this campaign.
He was also impressive for the national team in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho last month. The forward assisted Victor Osimhen's opening goal against the Crocodiles in Lagos.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian attacker Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for the Fans' Player of the Month award for the month of March.
The 24-year-old scored five goals in three Premier League appearances for Leicester City in the month under review.
This earned him his first-ever EPL player of the month award - beating the likes of Harry Kane and a few others to the prize.
