English Premier League Club Leicester City Release 9 Players As Others Get New Contracts

No fewer than nine players from Premier League club Leicester City have been allowed to go including Wes Morgan who moves into an executive capacity elsewhere.

It was gathered that Christian Fuchs is to partake in a bit of punditry while Matty James is expected to join a Championship outfit; he impressed at Coventry City last season.

Who are those involved?

According to Foxesofleicester.com, six members of the club’s youth team have also been released including one-time captain for the U23, Darnell Johnson.

However, the lucky Foxes to be awarded new deals are Josh Knight, Tyrese Shade, Kasey McAteer and Admiral Muskwe.

Sidnei Tavares could become a huge talent, therefore, Leicester must come to an agreement.

Konate arrives Liverpool

Meanwhile, ahead of the forthcoming season, Premier League club, Liverpool have confirmed the exit of four of their players following the arrival of Ibrahima Konate.

Konate from the German Bundesliga side joined the Reds as their first summer signing as they prepare for the coming League term.

Jurgen Klopp was under serious pressure last season even though the German and his wards ended up finishing third on the final Premier League table.

According to the official statement made by Liverpool, the Reds stated clearly that Ibrahima Konate has completed his medical and officially joined the club.

Legit.ng earlier reported that in a bid to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, Premier League club Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez, Daily Star reports.

It was gathered that the club’s director, Marina Granovskaia, is preparing to do lots of business in the transfer window.

Following their qualification for next season’s Champions League, the Blues who have also set their eyes on next season’s Premier League title will be very busy this summer.
