Ahead of the forthcoming season, Premier League club Liverpool have confirmed the exit of four of their players following the arrival of Ibrahima Konate.

Konate from German Bundesliga side joined the Reds as their first summer signing as they prepare for the coming League term.

Jurgen Klopp was under serious pressure last season even though the German and his wards ended up finishing third on the final Premier League table.

According to the official statement made by Liverpool, they Reds stated clearly that Ibrahima Konate has completed his medical and officially joined the club.

As a result, no fewer than four players have been allowed to leave the club including Liam Coyle, Joe Hardy, Abdi Sharif and Jack Walls.

The affected players were part of the developmental squads on the Merseyside with Walls in particular impressing in 2020/21, scoring six times.

But with opportunities in the first team likely to be at a premium, the four have been confirmed on their released list.

Highly rated left-back Yasser Larouci has been offered a new contract as the new 20-year-old assesses his options.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly decided to target Erling Haaland instead of Harry Kane ahead of the summer transfer window.
