Romelu Lukaku scored a landmark of goals in his career following Inter Milan's 3-1 win over Lazio in a tough Serie A fixture, Daily Mail.
The Belgian striker was on the scoresheet twice as the Nerazzurri move to the summit of the table after AC Milan slumped to a 2-0 defeat to lowly-placed Spezia.
Inter got their first from a Lukaku's penalty after Lautaro Martinez was fouled in the box as the former Man United forward scored in the 22nd minute.
Lukaku then scored his 300th career goal for club and country when he capitalised on a loose ball to put the ball behind Pepe Reina to make it 2-0.
Lazio got themselves back into the game after Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's deflected free-kick went into the back of the net.
But Lukaku wrapped up a five-star performance for Antonio Conte's men after making more than a 30-yard run and provided the assist to Martinez who sealed the win.
Inter now move one-point above city rivals Milan on the log as both sides are set to clash at the San Siro in a mouthwatering derby.
On the other hand, defending champions Juventus slipped to fourth place after Roma thrashed Udinese by 3-0.
