Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has scored more goals and achieved more goal involvements than any other Premier League player since he arrived, SunSport reports.

The Portuguese who joined the Red Devils on transfer deadline day in January 2020 from Sporting Lisbon has practically made the English top-flight his own.

Since his arrival, United have completely transformed as they now sit in first position on the PL standings and Fernandes has contributed heavily for the success so far.

He scored Manchester United’s winning goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round as they progress to the next round.

Incredibly, red-hot Fernandes has scored more and contributed more than any other player in all England competitions since he arrived.

The 26-year-old has found the back of the net 28 times - more than any other top-flight star - across the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Champions League and Europa League since last February.

He has 17 assists to his name already to take his goal involvements to 45 across all competitions.

Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah is 11 adrift of Fernandes with 34 goal involvements, with 26 goals and eight assists.

On the other hand, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted that there is no cause for alarm despite his side's recent poor run of results in all competitions.

The Reds were dumped out of the FA Cup championship at the fourth round stage following their 3-2 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

A goal each from Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, and Bruno Fernandes saw the Red Devils outshine their Premier League rivals in the cup competition.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester United ace Paul Pogba had a lengthy chat during their FA Cup fourth-round clash on Sunday night, January 24.

It was the second meeting between the two sides in nearly a week having squared off at Anfield in the Premier League on January 19.

And they won that tie 3-2 to proceed to the fifth round of the competition, but eagle-eyed fans spotted Klopp and Pogba having a discussion after the game.
