Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester United ace Paul Pogba had a lengthy chat during their FA Cup fourth-round clash on Sunday night, January 24, Mirror reports.

It was the second meeting between the two sides in nearly a week having squared off at Anfield in the Premier League on January 19.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rang a couple of changes of the FA Cup encounter, with Mason Greenwood, Scott McTominay, Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek getting a nod.

And they won that tie 3-2 to proceed to the fifth round of the competition, but eagle-eyed fans spotted Klopp and Pogba having a discussion after the game.

The Frenchman seems to have settled down at the club as he has been in fine form lately as he was also named man of the match vs Liverpool.

Klopp was seen shaking hands with Pogba and his United team-mates on the pitch after the full-time whistle.

A fan said:

"Klopp literally poaching Pogba behind Ole's back."

A frustrated Liverpool fan wrote:

"Klopp laughing and joking with Pogba at the end was worrying."

Another said:

"I was wondering what Klopp was telling Pogba there."

A further fan stated: "Klopp going straight to Pogba Game recognises game" whilst another added: "Why is Klopp always talking to Pogba after every match? Hmmm".

Pogba has, however, refused to take the credit alone as he hailed the impact of Edison Cavani's experience on the team.

The 27-year-old believes the Uruguayan striker has impacted his experience on the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the attack.

The former Paris Saint-Germain scored the equaliser at Craven Cottage before Pogba netted a sensational goal to send United back to the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has defended embattled Nicolas Pepe and Willian after both players failed to inspire Gunners past the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Both players who have been in and out of the squad were introduced in the FA clash against Southampton at St. Mary’s, but they failed to impress.

Defending champions Arsenal crash out of this season's competition having lost to hard-fighting Southampton in the fourth round of the competition on Saturday afternoon, January 23.
