FIFA who are the world football governing body have announced the names of the final three coaches who will be fighting for the best manager award for the year 2020.

The names of these three gaffers are Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool, Hans-Dieter Flick who is in charge of Liverpool and Leeds United handler Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa steered Leeds to first place in the EFL Championship by a margin of 10 points securing Leeds promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year absence.

Flick on the other hand guided Bayern Munich to win Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB-Pokal titles in the year 2020 which is an incredible record.

Jurgen Klopp helped Liverpool to win the Premier League title after 26 years of wait writing his name in gold at Anfield.

The winner of this award will be named on December 17 in a colorful ceremony and it will be decided by votes from national team coaches, captains and some selected reporters.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table with 24 points, while Leeds United occupy 14th on the standings.

The Reds will be facing Fulham in their next Premier League encounter.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how world football governing body announced on Friday evening, December 11, the names of the final three nominees for this year's award of best player.

The three players are Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, Barcelona captain Lionel Messi and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite the hazard of COVID-19 this year, these three player have been impressive for their respective clubs in all competitions.

Last month, FIFA actually released names of 11 players in their shortlist before the later narrowed it down to three on Friday, December 11.

Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, Mohamed Salah, Thiago Alcantara and Virgil van Dijk have all dropped out of the running.
