The Blues have already won eight of their 11 EPL fixtures this season to emerge as early pace-setters for the domestic crown.

Thomas Tuchel's charges currently enjoy a three-point advantage over second-placed Man City who have lost twice this season.

Liverpool, who suffered a heavy defeat against third-placed West Ham United last weekend are in fourth place with 22 points, one off City.

And when asked about Chelsea's start to the season, Cech conceded the side have undoubtedly been impressive, crediting the coaching staff for the spectacular run of results.

But despite many touting the Blues as favourites to cart home the EPL crown, the legendary shot-stopper contends it will not be a walk in the park as they are certain to face stiff competition from other teams.

"We’ve been having a brilliant season. The coaching staff has done a great job because we had a lot of players on international duty and pre-season was really affected by that," he told talkSPORT.
"To be in the position we are now, it’s a great credit to everyone. It has been a great pleasure to watch every game in the Premier League, there has been great drama and everybody can beat everybody. It will not be a two-horse race for the title," he added.

Incredibly, Chelsea would have been five points clear at the top had they won their last Premier League fixture against Burnley.

The west Londoners settled for a frustrating 1-1 draw against Sean Dyche's men at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea agree deal to sign Fenerbahce star

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported Fenerbahce defender Attila Szalai could be on his way to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea reportedly reached a deal to sign him.

Reports suggest the Blues have submitted an initial £20million ahead of a proposed deal for the Hungarian.

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also thought to be eyeing the services of the 23-year-old Hungarian defender.
