Chelsea duo of Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham have been left out of the Gareth Southgate's 33-man squad for the 2020 European Championship which is expected to start next month.

This latest development will come as a disappointing one for these two players considering how they snubbed the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the Three-Lions of England.

Before Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham both snubbed Nigeria, Amaju Pinnick who is the president of the Nigerian Football Federation visited these two players in England urging them to choose the Super Eagles.

But despite all the efforts, they chose England with two of them happy with their decisions and have even played for the England national senior men's team.

According to the report on Independent, the likes of Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling all made the provisional squad for EURO 2020.

The report added that Gareth Southgate will announce his 26-man squad for the tournament after the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea.

The delay will also allow players to prove their fitness, with the likes of Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, Harry Maguire and Kalvin Phillips, who are all included, either carrying or yet to properly return from injury.

Meanwhile, Portugal are the current champions of Europe having won the last European championship with Cristiano Ronaldo making incredible performances.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea star Tammy Abraham’s stunning girlfriend Leah Monroe blasted Blues boss Thomas Tuchel over his decision to leave out the striker for the FA Cup final.

Speculation on Tammy Abraham's future was fueled further after the England international was completely snubbed in the line-up against Leicester on Saturday, May 15.

Many football fans found this odd especially because Abraham is Chelsea’s top scorer this season.

Instead, Tuchel started with Timo Werner upfront, with Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud providing attacking variety on the bench.

The England striker’s girlfriend Leah did not appreciate Tuchel’s team selection and she took to Instagram to blast the boss in a since-deleted post.
