Ole Solskjaer who is the handler of Manchester United has stated clearly that himself and his wards are prepared to inflict a painful defeat Tottenham in their next Premier League tie.

In the first Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Tottenham, Jose Mourinho made a stunning return to Old Trafford picking the maximum three points.

It was United's joint biggest defeat in Premier League history and left them floundering in 16th place in the table.

Solskjaer admitted to being embarrassed afterwards and vowed to do everything in his power to turn things round.

According to the report on Daily Star, Solskjaer claimed that he is still thinking about the pain the defeat against Tottenham caused him.

"I think the players will remember that game with a lot of pain and their pride has been hurt, our professional pride has been hurt.
"The way and the manner we lost is not ourselves - and we know that. We gave ourselves a difficult game by having 10 men.
"Pre-season was short and we weren't up to the standard required, but we were so poor and I'm pretty sure we'll see some players wanting to prove that we're better than that."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paul Pogba could finally leave Manchester United at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.

The France international's contract at Old Trafford is set to expire in the summer of 2022 and it has been suggested that United should sell rather than keep him till next season.

According to Italian news publication Tuttosport, Pogba's romance at the Theatre of Dreams will be favourable to both club and player.

The 28-year-old has been linked away from United on several occasions since making a mouth-watering £89million move in 2016.

But his persistent injury problems and fitness issues have hindered his game at the club and superagent Mino Raiola has stated on a few occasions that his client will leave the team.

The World Cup winner has scored crucial goals for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men this season including strikes against West Ham, Burnley and Fulham.
