Premier League club Manchester United have equaled a Premier League record following their 0-0 draw with rivals Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, March 3.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men lost their way in the south London fog as they were held to a goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

United who were on top of the standings a few weeks back now trail league leaders Manchester City by a massive after a drab affair at Selhurst Park.

Chances were few and far between and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have now gone 285 minutes without a goal heading into Sunday’s derby at the Etihad.

Late on, Palace full-back Patrick Van Aanholt was played through but Dean Henderson ensured it finished 0-0 with a crucial save.

Following the draw, Manchester United become the fifth team to remain unbeaten in their first 14 away top-flight matches in a season (W8 D6), after Leeds United in 1973-74, Liverpool in 1987-88 and Arsenal in both 2001-02 and 2003-04.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero for Leicester City after scoring to help them stalemate Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday, March 3.

The 24-year-old forward fired home an unstoppable volley into Nick Pope's net in the 34th minute to seal as the two sides played a 1-1 draw at the end of the encounter.

Iheanacho made a run towards The Clarets' 18-yeard box after spotting his countryman Wilfred Ndidi looking to send in a long ball from his half.

The former Manchester City attacker was already at a vantage position in the box when the ball arrived and he wasted no more time before powering a low but sumptuous shot into the bottom right corner of the post with his left foot.

Legit.ng earlier reported that AC Milan shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked with a surprise move to Premier League giants Chelsea.

The Italy international will out of contract at the end of the season and it is understood the Blues are monitoring the situation.

The 22-year-old who earns a massive £175,000-a-week will be lured by the west London club if he refuses to sign a new with the Rossoneri.
