Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka was on target for Czech Premier League side Slavia Prague in their 1-1 draw against Inter Milan in their Champions League opening group game in Italy.

It took the 23-year-old attacker 63 minutes to find the back of the net on his debut on the UEFA elite competition after tapping in a loose ball from in the opponent's danger zone.

However, Olayinka became the first Nigerian star after Yakubu Aiyegbeni to score on his Champions League debut since 2002.

The former 36 Lion striker has also scored two goals in six Czech First League appearances this campaign - which takes his goal tally for the club to nine goals and four assists in 49 matches.
