Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane has been crowned the PFA Fans' Player of the Month of August following his superb start to the 2018-19 Premier League season.
The Senegal international has netted four goals in four appearances for the Champions League finalists so far in the season.
Scoring twice in their opening game against West Ham United to power them to 4-0 win at Anfield.
Mane beat Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Benjamin Mendy to win the first Player of the Month award this season.
Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge, Lucas Moura (Tottenham) and Watford’s Roberto Pereyra were also in the frame.
The former Salzburg striker claimed 58% of the votes that handed him the PFA gong, as others shared the 42%.
Meanwhile, the Reds forward is already positioning himself for the second straight award after scoring in his side's slim victory over Leicester on Saturday.
When asked about the ex-Southampton man earlier this summer, boss Jurgen Klopp said he can become as lethal as Mohamed Salah up front for the Reds.
"Now he's much more secure that this is his level," said Klopp.
"The players surprise themselves sometimes. 'Wow, really? That's how good I am?' We all need to show our best and get used to it.
"It's quality. We have to make sure we can show that every week.
"Who scores the goals is not too important, but it was very important for us and very nice for him that he could do it in the last game.
"Sadio is a very consistent player for us. His work-rate is great."
