Sallah Celebration In Nigeria
The Nigerian presidency on Wednesday, July 29, revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari will be observing the 2020 Eid-el-Kabir prayers with his family at home.
Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Muhammad Musa Bello, the minister of the FCT on Tuesday said Eid prayers are only allowed to hold in mosques’ premises.
The FG, through the Ministry of Interior, declared Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31, as the public holiday to mark the year 2020 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Zamfara state government said it has commenced the distribution of over 5,000 cows and 993 cows to the residents of the state for the celebration of Sallah.
