Nigeria Budget 2017
The special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, has revealed that the president will sign the 2018 budget next week. Adesina disclosed this after the FEC meeting on Wednesday, June 13.
President Muhammadu Buhari will tonight, Thursday, March 15, meet with the principal officers of both chambers of the national assembly. The meeting would discuss, among other things, issues surrounding the delay in 2018 budget.
The Federal Government on Monday, December 11, said it released N1.2 trillion to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government for the 2017 budget.
According to the federal government, some part of the stolen funds recovered from those that looted the economy is been used to finance the 2017 budget.
