Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta state has joined his numerous counterparts in the Southern Governors Forum to sign the anti-open grazing bill into law.

Six southern states are reportedly yet to pass the anti-open grazing law. All the 17 southern states had agreed to pass the law to end farmers/herders clashes.

The Ondo state government has chided the Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai for saying the anti-open grazing laws signed by some southern governors are unrealistic.
