It was a black New Year’s day in Zamfara as suspected armed bandits allegedly invaded the two communities of Dutsin kure and Manasa in Tsafe local government area of the state and ended up killing at least 18 residents.
Some unknown gunmen believed to be suspected herdsmen have reportedly attacked a 250 hectares rice farm belonging to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state. The suspects allegedly set a portion of the farm ablaze.
